ProDoor Automatic Installation
The INSTALL program will automatically install ProDoor in most standard
PCBoard systems. It will add to your PCBoard files and will customize
the ProDoor setup files.
WHAT TO DO
==========
1. Make a "TEMP" directory to work from. All files will start here
and will be copied into thier final locations.
2. Extract these archives into the TEMP directory:
PRODOR31.ZIP (The main DOOR program and supporting files)
PKZ102.EXE (Zipfile utilities)
DSZ0525.ZIP (Ymodem, Zmodem) or newer
ZIPTV20.ZIP (Zipfile text viewer)
WXFR0417.ZIP (Window Xmodem) \___
PCKERM21.ZIP (Super Kermit) / optional protocol drivers
3. Type 'INSTALL' and answer the questions.
THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO IT!!!
NOTES:
1. Review 'PRODOOR.DOC' if you are running a network or if you want to
customize your installation. This tells you how to edit the default
configuration files.
2. Run PRINTDOC.BAT to print out the complete documentation for ProDoor.
Run FILEDOC.BAT to file the complete documentation in PRODOOR.MAN for
BBS posting or online browsing.
3. The file INSTALL.LOG is a record of the installation dialog.
PLEASE INCLUDE A COPY OF THIS FILE WITH ANY PROBLEM REPORTS.
4. Use CONFIG.BAT to configure ProDoor and update PROD.CNF.
5. When reporting problems, *PLEASE* INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING FILES:
INSTALL.LOG,
PROD.CNF,
PCBOARD.DAT,
CNAMES.
o Describe the EXACT error message or problem.
o Give instructions for how to reproduce the problem.
o Report the date and time on the original PRODOOR.EXE file.
6. See PROBLEM.DOC for information on reporting installation problems
and program bugs.
